Join in Support of Family Promise at Fountains UMC

For more than a year, New Journey volunteers have been supporting The Fountains in their overnight hosting of 3-4 families (four times per year) who are working to move out of episodic homelessness. Our next New Journey dinner is Wednesday, September 2.

While FUMC provides an awesome salad bar Sunday through Saturday, we have furnished dinner (e.g., main, side, rolls, dessert) for a mid-week dinner. You can help by contributing part of the meal, helping set up the buffet, and staying to enjoy dinner! Let Brenda Galindez know of your interest. Other welcome roles include providing a bit of after-dinner entertainment for kids (a puppet show? reading a story? music?), laundry washing at the end of the week, or serving as an overnight host.
