Why I give to New Journey Lutheran Church

When I was a child going to our Children’s Chapel, I would put my coins into a small church envelope for offering. As the years went by, the envelope got bigger and so did the coins going into it. Then it was checks into the envelope and today, it’s online giving.

Times change but not my commitment to give to my church home. I bless my parents for raising me to go to church and instilling in me a servant’s heart.

Being part of a church community is something I take very seriously and gladly do my part in whatever way I can with what God has blessed me with; be that talent, treasure or time.

I encourage all of you to search your servant’s hearts and pray for our church and your part in it, be that time, treasure or talent. Together we have done so many generous things for others and I believe that will continue long into the future.

I’ll be making my pledge online before November 14th so our Congregational Council can complete our Mission Plan for 2026.
