Northeast Valley Consortium Pastoral Care Training Begins October 25

Given our call for a half-time pastor, New Journey asked about potential training for laypersons to support a pastor in providing this important care. Pr. Steve Kruse (New Covenant), Pr. Anne Rieke (Christ the Lord), and Pr. Phil Gustafson (New Journey) have collaborated to develop a bit more extensive training than originally envisioned, which is a wonderful opportunity for any additional New Journey members who are interested.

The four workshop sessions will be on October 25, November 1, 8, and 15 at New Covenant, from Noon to 1:15 with a catered lunch provided. If you signed on to participate in this training for New Journey, please confirm your intention with Pr. Phil; additional attendees are welcome to join the project by letting Pr. Phil know of your interest.
