Grand Canyon Synod Assembly 2026: Rooted in God’s Story

The Grand Canyon Synod of the ELCA will gather June 11–13, 2026, at Love of Christ Lutheran Church in Mesa, Arizona, for the annual Synod Assembly under the theme “Rooted in God’s Story.” This important gathering brings together voting members, rostered ministers, and synod partners for worship, learning, fellowship, and the shared work of the church, including synod business and discernment for our life together. Highlights include opening worship with Bishop Deborah Hutterer, plenary leadership with Rev. Tim Brown, engaging workshops, a Friday night variety show, and opportunities to celebrate ministry across the synod.
