Support Family Promise with New Journey Lutheran Church

New Journey Lutheran Church is once again partnering with The Fountains United Methodist Church to support Family Promise, a program that helps families transition out of episodic homelessness.

On Thursday, October 23, we’ll assist with dinner preparation and serving for families currently in the program. These families stay overnight at The Fountains UMC during one of four hosting weeks each year. Each evening, volunteers provide a warm, home-cooked meal and a welcoming atmosphere.

Family Promise offers more than shelter—parents attend daily classes on employment, financial stability, and life skills, while children continue attending school. A dedicated van transports families to and from the host site each day.
