Update on Phone Call Visits

Dear sisters and brothers,

The brief exercise I wanted to do in September—meeting all our households by phone with two questions—hasn't been so brief, and I'm thankful for that. I was hoping to finish by the revised date of October 7, and I am now extending that to October 18. 

Unfortunately, my schedule has not been as free as I hoped to call during the day, and I am reluctant to call in the evening, especially for our members residing at a distance, not to call early for me but late for you.

I am grateful for the time and care that you who have conversed with me have offered. Thank you for your patience with me.

The financial condition of NJLC remains strong, with income exceeding expenses. With 75% of the year complete, end-of-September numbers are:

Income year-to-date = $ 120,896 (95% of Plan)

Expenses year-to-date = $93,685 (68% of Plan)

Savings: $21,781

NJLC Mission Spending Plan Request Form 2027

Now that we are into October, we need to assist Treasurer Marylou Steeden in drafting New Journey’s 2027 Mission Spending Plan.

A copy of the funding request form will be mailed to NJLC ministry team chairs, and it is also linked HERE.

If you have mission spending plan requests, please complete the form and submit it to marylousteeden@hotmail.com by October 30.
