5/31 Congregational Meeting Recap

Forty members attended the May 31, 2026, congregational meeting (31 in person, 9 via livestream). The motion that NJLC move ahead with sharing church space with The Fountains United Methodist Church failed by a 14 “Yes” / 23 “No” vote.

Both the April 19 and May 31 meetings were hard work for all involved. Appreciation goes to Council colleagues; the "tech team" who made our slides, livestream, document emailing, and text voting possible; and to all involved for their participation.
