Worship and Music Committee’s work continues…

On Sunday, August 24th after worship, we will meet to chose hymns for September and October. Those choices will be shared with Susan Brahs, our Communication Coordinator, so she can prepare the worship PowerPoints.

We’d like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to offer ideas, suggestions, and/or questions you’d like answers to concerning worship during this time of transition.

Please be assured that we have coverage for supply pastors for the rest of August and all of September.

We are working closely with the Council and keeping them informed of our work and assisting in securing future pastors to fill in while we begin the search for a new pastor.

Starting in September, we will return to the Revised Common Lectionary, Year C which reads from the gospel of Luke. We continue with Luke’s gospel until November 30th, the first Sunday in Advent.

We ask for prayers and support for our committee as we continue to prepare worship services.
