Welcome Pastor Phil Gustafson
We are pleased to welcome Pastor Phil Gustafson, who will serve as New Journey’s transition coach during this time of pastoral transition. Transition coaches are leaders trained to work with congregations in the transition process. They work with a few congregations at a time and act as the main liaison between the Office of the Bishop and the congregations.
Pastor Phil brings a wealth of experience, along with a steady presence marked by kindness, integrity, and a warm sense of humor. We are grateful for his guidance and encouragement as we journey together through this season of listening, discernment, and preparation for what God has in store for New Journey next.
He will attend the Congregation Council meeting on August 19 and on Sunday, August 24 preach and preside in worship.
