Hunger Advocacy in Action

New Journey’s Red Door now features updated ELCA World Hunger resources, including a report from Kris Bartanen on the 2025 ELCA Hunger Leadership Gathering held in Columbus, Ohio.

    • Daily devotions based on Matthew 25:37

    • Weekly advocacy actions

    • Proposed matched donations to ELCA Good Gifts

  • 🌱 Service-Learning:

    • Visits to Mid-Ohio Farm Collective and Church for All People

    • Hands-on learning about food access, housing, and health care

    • Dinner at St. Philip Church, a hunger grant partner

  • 🛠️ Ministry Fair & Workshops:

    • Introductions to hunger ministries across the U.S. and abroad
