Social Ministry Team votes to pack lunches during Sunday Fellowship time!

  • Sundays: June 8 and 22, July 27, August 3 – all are welcome after worship; it usually takes just 30-35 minutes to pack 200 lunches.

  • Lunches, on Monday morning, will go to First United Church of Christ (Central Phoenix, near Grace Lutheran); after August 10, they will again go to Wesley United Methodist (South Phoenix). All are Arizona Faith Network Heat Respite Centers.

  • We will also provide one pallet of water, plus electrolyte powder, all funded by a grant from Ascension Lutheran Church Council.

  • Contributions to New Journey heat respite will go to supplying additional water and/or additional lunches in the September/October time period.
