40-40-40 Lenten Challenge & Maundy Thursday Worship
Northeast Valley Consortium members celebrated the close of the Grand Canyon Synod 40-40-40 Lenten Challenge with a special Maundy Thursday worship service at Spirit of the Desert Retreat Center. Pr. Beth Gallen; Pr. Anna Rieke, Christ the Lord; and Pastor Shari Bernau, Living Water, officiated in the “luncheon-style” worship, including shared sermon time, communion and foot-washing. Roger and Beulah Westland, Terry and Mary Lou Steeden, Cindy Brady, Kris Bartanen represented New Journey at the event.
