The Prayer Flags call out, Lord See Our Prayer. They signal something that needs attention in our life. They may flag a starting, a stopping, a new beginning, a breaking of an old habit, a move in a direction that you never anticipated.
A piece of art creates a transitional space that allows us to see something that has not been seen previously. May the transitional spaces in these Prayer Flags draw you into prayer and help you to see what is needed or what God may be calling you toward.
Simple in design and symbol, they are full of intense color much like stained glass windows. The larger central image, Spiritual Timeline, visualizes the journey we travel in our spiritual life. Borders of experiences are frayed, the journey is full of twists and turns, and is flagged by experiences of the holy. Our spiritual timeline is seldom linear, rarely neat and tidy, always full of grace and blessing. --by Jill Lawrence

Spiritual Timeline - Prayer Flags
We are delighted to welcome the liturgical art installation, Prayer Flags: Lord See Our Prayer to New Journey Lutheran Church (ELCA). These flags are a visual reminder of the centrality of prayer in our worship and our life. They lift and carry our praises and concerns to God, trusting that God hears and sees our prayer.
